DW Poster Ep. 2 Sectoids vs Clone Troopers

Both are clones and both are essentialy a cannonfodder so comparing the manpower and reserves is moot - a division wiped out, just spit out more accelerate aged clones from the tubes to replace the losses. Technology, plasma weaponry against particle beam blasters. Air superiority: weaponry the same, just on bigger scale, but considering the ease XCom players have when attacking UFOs with plasma guns, the superiority would probably go to the Clone troopers. This coupled with the fact that the Clone troopers have superior tactics and can have CAS and such (even if Sectoids have their Mechtoid combat exosuit which however, in all probability would be an easy picking for CAS'), I am more inclined to give this to the Clone troopers.

BUT

depending on whether it is meant Sectoids as a race or as a caste of said race the final resolution will differ:
if it is meant Sectoids as a caste - just the Sectoid soldiers, then the Clone troopers win with no problem;
however, if it is meant Sectoids as a whole race, weeel I am sure everyone who played XCom can remember those damn Sectoid Commanders who were psionically attacking our brave squads. Simply put, they would psionic the Clone troopers into oblivion, probably by jumbling their tactical thought process and such.

Oh and BTW, let's not forget that in the original XCom, there were no different (physically) Sectoids, they just had different ranks and functions and those with the commander rank were psionics as well, but there were no castes at all.
